Is there something that happens quite often that can be easily avoided if you prepare in advance? Not that I’m flying out tomorrow to look for work in another country, but I’m considering it for the future.

I guess the issue is going without knowing the language, without all the necessary documents, not preparing a place to live, and all that stuff. Basically, I think the problem often is that the person hasn’t laid the groundwork for their basic needs, at least for the first little while.

It seems to me that a big mistake people make is going abroad without really understanding the situation in their field, whether there’s low or high competition, or what the job market is like there. Isn’t it better to do some research in advance? Plus, it’s not hard to visit site layboard.in, check out the available jobs, and maybe even contact the employer. Basically, like you said, you should cover yourself and know you're going there for a reason.
